I search for ways to improve my personal finances and so I attend financial learning events like Money Summit & Wealth Expo.

In this event I met the people who can help me

learn the investment opportunity that I least know about:

Trading Foreign Currencies (FOREX).

The best part of this meeting is that they gave me $25 to start cents trading. Kidding (but true) aside, I met  FBS Markets Philippines country manager Ralph Jonathan Samson and country sales manager Novelyn Restrivera Almanzo. From them I learned that the mother company of FBS is Russian and that I can start trading for as low as $100. The company offers learning opportunities both online and in face-to-face events such as what they are inviting us to attend.

The acquaintance was so good that we met again at TV5 Media Center

where I was working then as segment producer for Bloomberg TV Philippines. I wanted to develop the idea of FBS Markets traders sharing their expertise in the show. Personal Finance was my segment and I am certain that the knowledge and skills they can share will be worth millions. In this meeting I met two more experts Nida C. Lingat and Bhavna Chandiramani.

When I lost my post in the show I thought I’d lose my association with them, too. But that was not the case. Novelyn continued to assist me open a cents trading account so I don’t lose the $25 by default. She was the one who informed me of the coming learning event on Monday. Ralph extended his support to whatever I’m doing now as guerrilla publisher of THE PHILIPPINE CORPORATE ADDRESS BOOK.
