Ayala and Globe Chair Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala led the toast to open the new Globe Gen3 Store in Greenbelt.
Marking the opening of this new store with Ayala were Singtel CEO Chua Sock Koong, Singtel Chair Simon Israel, Head of Stores Joe Caliro, Globe CEO Ernest Cu and GEN3 Store Founder Tim Kobe.
Globe Telecom continues to bring world-class and innovative retail experience to its mobile service customers in the country as the company opens its fourth GEN3 store at the Ayala Center in Makati City.
Transformed from a previously average-sized store into a two-storey third generation hub, the new Globe GEN3 store located in Greenbelt 4 showcases reconfigurable lifestyle zones as well as self-service customer kiosks for a more dynamic retail experience.
The GEN3 store carries an up-to-date selection of digital connectors making it a one-stop digital lifestyle hub. It is the first store in Asia to carry the ZAGG machine, a revolutionary device that customizes industry standard screen protection for almost all available smartphones, tablets and smart watches in the market. The stores are designed by Tim Kobe, founder and CEO of Eight, Inc., whose works also include the Apple Store in New York, and international retail stores such as Nike, GAP and Coach, among others.
The first two GEN3 stores simultaneously opened in SM North EDSA in Quezon City and in Limketkai Mall in Cagayan de Oro in December 2014. This was followed by the opening of another GEN3 store in Ayala Center Cebu. This October, Globe is set to open one more GEN3 store in SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. The company also announced the construction of the Globe Iconic Store right above the Bonifacio Global City amphitheatre at the Bonifacio High Street Central in Taguig City.

While the statement of presidential candidate Sen. Grace Poe, “I have no money, pol machinery but I have a dream,” is a necessary indirect campaign for funding support, I think she should have not said that.
Dreams need money and dreams remain dreams without money.
It is impossible to perceive her as having no money. Although I can perceive her as not having as much money as the more experienced candidates.
I recommend that she be packaged as having a decent amount of money. This I think will attract the business community to fund her campaign. Business people prefer to support candidates who have sharp economics acumen and who will more likely be attuned with how business works, not to mention how political campaigns work.
She hasn’t categorically said that she wants to run for president but I think it is about time she does. While it is true that “destiny calls people to power,” it is the discerning leader who rises up to the call of destiny. Everyday she is packaged as a reluctant leader is a day of lost confidence to someone who could be president of the Philippines.
