  1. Yes technology is really an important thing to advertise, communicate, educate and it is also a part of modernization but I’m still insisting the use of books in teaching because it will improve the vocabulary of the students. As I notice, students nowadays are only relying on the internet resources and technology stuffs without even really understanding what is written.
  1. The new identity was more minimalistic and more simple. And it’s more “ideal” for printing 🙂 Only one color 🙂
  1. Google was still the same? =)) I like the old logos of the following: Black Decker (they were really known in this identity so why change it), Reebok (they looked like a car company in their new logo) and the Lipton (it looked like a championship belt and not like a refreshing drink anymore).
  1. This was indeed a very great and very smart advertisement. I think this should be implemented in the whole world to promote the awareness against food waste.
  1. I’m guilty for the poor contrast and mixing moods huhu 😦 I hope there was a subject offered in our curriculum to have an in-depth study of typography 😀
  1. As advertisers, we have the responsibility to lead our market to the right way and as Thomasians we must live for the truth and nothing but the truth.
  1. I wish that branding was taught more in our subjects. That there is a major for branding. 😀
  1. I want to try making a camera as a business card 🙂 Very smart! 😀
  1. McDonalds always adapt to the trend of the society. Through their ads, people can relate easily. And also even if they already earn a lot it doesn’t mean they have to stop advertising. It should be their inspiration to 9roduce more creative ads 🙂 They were so versatile in conceptualizing ads 🙂
  1. We are artists and we value visuals and images. Every people can relate to each visuals we create. Just try reading a book without an image, yes it enhances your imagination but having images are more attractive and more powerful. That’s only my opinion 😀

5 pts was a video way back when I was in 4th year high school. I’m not that good in playing drums but I think by improving it, it will become useful in putting music in advertisements.

Engines of Commerce

When I sent an email to Mr. Gardner, I already assume that he will not reply to my email because he’s busy and who am I for him to reply. I’m only a student and HE IS MR. HOWARD GARDNER THE PROPONENT OF MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES. I was very surprised until now, I can feel that kilig factor because he replied to me. Wishing me luck to my studies. He’s a very down to earth man that even “just me”, he still took time to read my email and reply to it.

SIR ROM! What am I suppose to do next? 😀 huhu :)))
