Fr. Robert J. Suchan, S.J.
17 March 1926 – 22 August 2015
Director of Libraries, Ateneo de Manila University, 1959-1981
For more than 20 years, Fr. Bob was Director of all the Ateneo de Manila libraries, including the University Archives. He was responsible for the construction of the original Rizal Library building, among other innovations during his tenure. Without him, the Rizal Library would not be what it is today. Please pray for the repose of his soul.
